Individual Sessions:

Please keep in mind that for all online sessions, your booking is reserved after a payment is received.

How long does a session last ?

Individual clients: 60 min

Couples: 90 min

When there are 5-10 min left, I will let you know, so we can start concluding the session.

Where do sessions take place?

I work mostly with Zoom. For online sessions, I can also use Viber, Whatsapp, Messenger, Telegram, Google Meet.

There is an option for in-person sessions in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Cancellations

If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of the session, 50% of the fee is due.

What is the difference between therapy and coaching?

Both therapy and coaching are research and evidence-based, and rooted in psychology. They differ in the training, expertise, and scope of practice.

Coaching usually focuses on your present and future, not the past. It is useful when trying to accomplish a particular goal, in which case we define that goal, and devise and action plan to achieve it.

Therapy helps explore and process events and influences of the past, and how these may be shaping behavior in the present. Therapists are licenced to work with mental conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder using psychotheurapeutic methods

Counseling is similar to therapy in many ways, but is usually a shorter-term intervention. A counselor is someone you might turn to when there is a very specific issue that requires treatment.

What can I expect from our discovery call(s)?

The first one or two sessions are called Discovery Calls.

Their purpose is:

  • To clarify expectations of our work together. I answer any questions you might have regarding the process or myself and my qualifications. To sign the Informed Consent.
  • For me to learn as much about you as I can, in order to understand the context of the challenges you experience, so I can assess and evaluate them and offer preliminary insight. I will ask you to tell me more about what brought you here and I will guide you by asking clarifying questions.
  • To explore your goal for our work together, although this can change during subsequent sessions.
  • To define together the problems you are experiencing and lay out the direction of future sessions or an action plan.
  • Very importantly, this is also your chance to decide whether you want to continue working with me. Evaluate after the session whether you felt calm, comfortable, and whether you can trust me to partner with you for the change you want to achieve.

How often should I come to sessions?

This depends on you and your situation. I will offer a recommendation. Usually, individuals come 1 per week. And couples 1 every two weeks for a period of time. After that, sessions are less often.

How long would it take to feel better / solve my issues?

This depends on you and your situation, our therapeutic relationship, and your work within sessions. Real change comes from how you implement what we discuss in your life. Most of my clients need 3-6 sessions on their initial request; however, in many cases 6 months on average are needed to create a deep transformation. Therefore it is impossible to say, as our lives and relationships are dynamically changing.
